THE MATH
FOR A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD
Passing the ball
You always have a 2-in-3 (66%) chance of retaining the ball and passing it to one of your own players.
You always have a 1-in-3 (33%) chance of losing the ball to the opponent.
Scoring goals
From a Striker, you have a 1-in-6 (16.5%) chance of getting a shot at goal.
When playing NORMAL difficulty, the goalie has a 1-in-3 chance of making a save and getting a goal kick; a 1-3 chance of making a save but giving away a corner; and a 1-in-3 chance of conceding the goal. I.e. you have a 1-in-18 (5.6%) chance of scoring a goal from the striker dots.
Randomness
It is almost impossible to ever play two identical matches.
There is an average of 6.57 possible moves from every node on the Sokhazania board.
In a 15 min match, with a move being made every 4 seconds, there will be an average of 225 moves in total. This generates 10^183 possible outcomes for every match.
To put this number into perspective, scientists have calculated that there are only 10^80 atoms in the known Universe.
Realistic scores
When playing a match in NORMAL mode with 225 moves on average, 2.8 goals will be scored per match. There is a 7.5% chance of the match ending goalless and a 3% chance of 6 or more goals being scored.
In EASY mode, there is a 42% chance that 3-4 goals will be scored and 3% chance that 8 or more goals will be scored.
